HERE before this tyme ambiguities questions and doubtes have been moved and stirred in divers and sondrie the W King Courtes of Recorde [whither'] suche Honno" Castelle Manno" Landes Tenement and other heredytamente ar holden of the King in Capite which anny his lovinge Subgectť do holde by Knightę s'vice Socage or other s'vices of the King as of his Duchies Earldomes Baronies Hono" Castelle Manno" Landes Tente Fees and Seignories, which have come to thandes and possession of diverse of his Highnes moste noble progeinto" by attayndo' of Treasone misprision of treason attayndors of premunire and provision had and doon by acte of pliament by verdite confession conviction or utlagarye, and Offices or no Offices thereuppon founde, or by the dissolucon surrendre or giving upp to the King or to anny his noble progeinto" of anny Religious or Ecctiasticall howses or places, or of anny Manno" Landes Tenemente and other hereditament to anny of the same Religious or Ecctiasticall howses or places in anny wise apptayninge or belonging, or no, By means of which doubte so moved his saide humble and obedyent Subgect and Tenauntę have been heretofore muche unquieted molested and greved: Wherfore the King o' Soveraigne Lorde mynding and entierlie desiring the quietnes of his saide Subgecte and that the certaintie of his Lawes in that bihalfe might be knowen and declared to his saide loving Subgecte, For a playne declaraĉón and resoluĉon to be had of for and concerninge the premisses, at the humble peticon and suite of the Lordes and Comens in this int plament assembled, dothe ordeyne declare and enacte by thassent of the Lordes Spuall and Temporall and of the Comens in this pnt pliament assembled and by thauctoritie of the same, that all suche Honno" Castelle Manno" Landes Tenemente and other hereditamente and everie of them, wh now he or at anny tyme hereafter shalbe holden of the King or of anny of his heires or successo" by anny of his saide Subgect by Knightę s'vice socage or otherwise as of anny of his or theire Dukedomes Earledomes Baronyes Castelle Manno" Landes Tent Fees or Seignories, which be come to the King or his moste noble progenito" or hereafter shall come to the King his heire or Successo" by meanes of anny suche attayndo' conviction utlagarye or of anny such dissolucon surrendre or giving upp of anny religious or ecctiasticall howses or places or of anny Manno" Landes Tente or hereditamente to anny of the saide religious or ecctiasticall howses or places in anny wise belonging or apptayninge, shall not fromhensfurthe be adjudged demed taken or construed to anny Intent construction or purpose to be holden in Capite or [as tenure'] in Capite: Anny ambiguitys question or dowbte heretofore moved to the contrarie notwhstanding
PROVIDED allwaies and be it enacted by thauctoritie aforesaide that this Acte or anny thing therin conteyned shall not in anny wise be prejudiciall ne hurtfull to the King his heires or Successo", to for or concerninge anny wardeshipp Livereye primer seasone fyne for allyenacón, or to or for anny other profitt or adv'untage which now is come or hereafter shall or maye come fall or growe to the King his heires or Successo" by or from anny parsone or parsons which now doth or hereafter shall hold anny Honno" Seignories Castelle Manno" Landes Tente or other hereditamente of the King in Chief as of his parsone or of anny other his auncyent possessions, and being not come to the King by anny suche attayndo' confession conviction utlagarye dissolution giving upp or surrender as be abovesaide
PROVIDED allso and be it enacted by thauctoritie aforesaide that this int Acte or anny thing therin conteyned or specified shall not in anny wise or by anny meanes give anny adv'untage Libertie or profitt to anny Tenaunt or Owner in Fee Symple of anny Honno" Manno" Landes Tente or other hereditamente, which have heretofore sued anny speciall or general Livereye or ouster lemayne owt of thandes of the King or of anny his noble progenito" of anny Hono" Manno" Landes Tent or other hereditamente, by what teno' or s'vice theie were or be holden, or that have or shall confesse by anny matter of Recorde anny teno' in chief of the King; But that theie their heires and assignes shall have and holde the same Manno" Landes Tente and other hereditamente in lyke manner and fo'me as theie did before the making of this Acte, and as thoughe this pnt Acte had never been had ne made, anny thing above declared and enacted to the contrarie notwithstanding
